SOCCER AID FOR UNICEF 2025 RAISES £15,280,163

Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025, broadcast live on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player, has raised an incredible £15,280,163 for UNICEF’s work around the world – supporting children to grow up safe, healthy and able to play.

This year’s fundraising total means Soccer Aid for UNICEF has now raised over £121 million since the first match in 2006. Every donation this year – up to £5 million – was doubled thanks to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.

Ahead of kick-off at the sold-out Old Trafford stadium, Sam Thompson completed the final stage of his Match Ball Mission. He delivered the ball onto the pitch to an audience of over 70,000 fans as the final fundraising total of £2,075,564 for his epic challenge was revealed.

After a hotly contested match the final score was 5-4 to the Soccer Aid World XI, who stole the win back with a late winner from Big Zuu. The World XI keep the overall lead with 8-6 wins against England since the inaugural 2006 match.

The money raised from this year’s fundraising total could help UNICEF provide safe spaces for children in times of crisis, vital vaccinations and nutrition support, and the opportunity to learn. And it could do so much more to protect play for every child.
